Welcome to Uptown Dogs Confetti Schnoodles. We are pleased to share our Confetti Schnoodles with you! We are a small hobby breeder of the sweetest breed on the planet: The Confetti Schnoodle. Our line of Schnoodles have captivated the hearts of all who meet them, and have gained popularity as one of the most friendly and intelligent of the companion breeds. With our continual focus on improving our breed, we have advanced to the next generation of Schnoodles! The same beautiful temperament, with improved and consistent coat quality, stature and that cute loveable face everyone falls in love with.

Our Successful Breeding Program
We are proud of the quality puppies we have produced, and work toward excellence in health, integrity, and disposition. Always watching for ways to improve our next breeding, never settling for mediocrity. We have searched worldwide for only the best dogs with traits we want to exemplify and improve our breeding program. We have taken notes, maintained contact with our families, and listened to suggestions from our Veterinarian and other breeders to improve our lines. It's been a true labor of love, 20 plus years in the making! Our puppies are hand-raised by myself in our family home. I pre-spoil each and every pup, using our own tried and true "Uptown Puppy" socialization program to ensure the puppies have a great head-start before going to their forever home. We have found that most people are hooked after adopting one of our puppies, and come back for another. It is a great compliment to our breeding program to receive referrals from previous happy families. You can read a small sampling of letters from these families on the Client Review pages. Most of our new clients have either met or know someone with one of our puppies, and wanted to have one for their family. Some dogs come and go from your life as an acquaintance, but our dogs become your best friend for life, holding a special place in your heart forever.
Healthy Food ~ Healthy Dogs
We raise naturally reared puppies, meaning minimal vaccinations and holistic diet. (For more information on our foods, visit our page on healthy diets.) In addition to the home-made treats we make for our dogs, we also feed, Life's Abundance, based on the research from Dr. Jane Bicks. We offer help and guidance to all of our prospective families on the benefits of feeding a premium and holistic diet. We have found huge improvements in the appearance, health, and well being of our animals when switching to this high quality diet. No doggy odor, bad dog breath, tearing of the eyes, tartar buildup on teeth, and longer lives for your pet!
We also offer a 5-year health guarantee to every dog that is raised on this diet.
We take pride in the puppies we produce, and work toward excellence in health, integrity, disposition, and stature. Our babies are raised underfoot, around people of all ages from children to the elderly, other dogs and cats, too! We are not a large kennel--our focus is to improve our breed, thus our availability is limited to a waiting list. This allows us to raise the puppies in our home, where we feel they receive the care and love they need. All of our puppies are well socialized and paper trained from the start. Puppies are our passion, and ours are raised with the best of care. We are always re-educating ourselves in canine health. To us, our babies are a precious responsibility, and nothing short of the best is what we strive for in our breeding program.

The Creation of a New Generation of Healthy Allergy Friendly Dogs!
Throughout history people have changed dogs to meet people's needs. By careful selection, the nature-inherited traits are changed to suit the qualities that are desired. Development of all specialized breeds such as; Sporting, Hound, Working, Terrier, Toy, and Non-sporting groups were developed over a long period of careful selection of different dog abilities. During the process, many wonderful breeds have been created. It is a matter of what suits a particular person's needs, life style, and ability to care for the animal's selected needs.
Since before recorded history, mankind's association with the dog has been a special one. During these many thousands of years hybrids have played an important role in the creation of new breeds bred for specific purposes. Only recently, however, has an attempt been made to breed, record, and verify hybrid matings made deliberately as hybrids to enhance the traits in these dogs which are desirable as pets.
All "Purebred" dogs began at one time as a mixture of often-unknown origins. The individual breed characteristics were fixed over time until the dog produced offspring true to type.
Specific hybrids may be developed into purebreds in their own right as breeders selectively breed for desired qualities.

We can not say enough wonderful things about working with Uptown Dogs or of Daisy, the female Schnoodle puppy she placed with us in July of this year. If you have reached the web page and are considering working with her as a breeder, please read about our experience below.
What did we love about working with Uptown Dogs?
1. She was responsive to my e-mails immediately. The night we found her web page I sent her some questions and within hours I heard back from her. This level of quick responsiveness to our e-mails continued through the many months of communication both before we got our puppy and afterwords. We still e-mail with Uptown Dogs today and she still has the same high level of responsiveness to us. We were not forgotten once we paid her our money. She truly cares about the dogs she places and the people she places them with.
2. They places dogs on a first come first serve basis. Many breeders feel the need to do personality matching between puppies and owners. While this may sounds well and good, but if you have your heart set on a dog, you want one when you want one, not when the breeder decides you are worthy to receive one. We have 2 small children and live in Minnesota - both of these were factors in getting our dog. We did not want to housebreak a puppy in the dead of winter, so we were very interested in getting a puppy in the spring or summer. Secondly, we did not want to say to our kids, "we're getting a dog, but we can't tell you when. It might be this month or next year depending on whether or not there is the right personality match between us and a puppy." They was very honest and straightforward with us about the waiting list and where we were on it and when we could expect our puppy. The process happened very quickly.
3. They allowed us to leave the tail undocked. This was a very important criterion for us in getting a dog from Uptown Dogs. Most Schnoodle breeders are adamant about docking the tails. We just love dogs' tails and wanted to leave it undocked. Uptown Dogs did that for us and I can't imagine Daisy without her long, flowing, happy, wagging tail. I recently read that they are leaving all tails un-docked now unless requested. I think that's great.
4. They provided us lots of photos and updates of Daisy once she was born. We were so excited to hear that Daisy had arrived. They were able to start calling her Daisy right away (the name our 7 year old daughter had picked out for our puppy) and she kept us updated on how she was doing for the 11 weeks before we had her shipped to us. We worried a lot about shipping a dog, but Daisy was acting like a normal healthy happy puppy from the minute she arrived.
5. We can tell they care about the dogs more than the money. I know many breeders have a designated "pick up day." Every day after that day they charge a boarding fee to board your dogs with them. They worked with us in finding the best time to ship Daisy to us. She worked around our previously planned summer vacation and the heat wave in Minnesota. Everything she did was to the safety and well being of Daisy. We got Daisy at 11 weeks (3 weeks longer that many breeders require you pick them up) and they never asked us for one penny of additional money to take care of Daisy for the 3 weeks she had her. Other breeders would have charged us around $300 for the extra 3 weeks.
6. Finally and most importantly, Daisy is a wonderful dog. She does not bark, she has great energy, she is healthy, she is smart, and is affectionate and gentle with our small children. If you are looking for an adorable dog who is great with children as well as with adults, I highly recommend a Schnoodle and we highly recommend Uptown Dogs. I can not imagine a better experience in getting a dog than the one we had!
