Waiting List
Our Upcoming Litters:
These dates are estimations, as we are dealing with Mother Nature.  A female's cycle can be early or late due to many factors including weather and hormonal changes, so these dates are not 'set in stone', just a tool to plan with.
(Please read our note at the bottom of the page about female cycles and litter planning BEFORE submitting your application.)

Waiting List Procedures
To join the Waiting List we require a $200 non-refundable deposit.  Once you are on the waiting list, we will keep you informed of new litters and their availability via email.  If you have a timeframe or color preference, please let us know so we can work you in on that specific litter,  the wait can be longer.  Typical time between litters is 4-6 months, but it is definitely worth the wait!

Preference is given in the order we receive the deposit, so if two families are interested in the same pup, it will go to the family with the earliest deposit date.

Updated Process:
1)  Submit application
2)  Upon Approval, deposit is due to hold your place on the waiting list.

PLEASE NOTE FOR PUPS LISTED AS AVAILABLE ON THE NURSERY PAGE: If you are submitting a deposit for a specific puppy listed on the site and you are NOT on our waiting list---time is of the essence, as our puppies go very quickly.  We do NOT consider a puppy YOURS until that deposit has been made to hold it.  We've had many folks wait too long to submit their application and deposit and discover a puppy is no longer available, so if you see one you want, make sure to request it :)

3)  We notify the waiting list with updates of pregnancies and arrival of new litters via email.
4) Once a litter announcement has been made, you can decide if this timing is good for you, or wait for the next litters.  Once your position on this waiting list has been confirmed we will email a series of emails containing important information and dates pertaining to this litter. (We can only accept as many as there are puppies, so be sure to get back to us A.S.A.P if you are ready for a pup!)   If we do not hear back from your family right away, we consider this a decline for this litter and will keep you on the email list for upcoming litters.
5) Choosing begins at 4-6 weeks old, once we can determine personality. Puppies are chosen in the order of paid deposit.
6)  Once you have made your decision and we have confirmed your puppy choice, final adoption payment and shipping is due, so we can begin finalizing the shipping and make veterinary appointments, purchase supplies for the puppy's shipping day.
7)  Puppies will be delivered and shipped at 8 weeks old.  Occassionally there are flight delays due to airline issues, so if you are having your pup shipped, please bear with this process, it is out of our control!

"Our puppies are the most loving and socialized babies on the planet, and we cannot wait to share them with you and your family!"

Choosing Day
We perform personality testing for families to help find the perfect match for every situation.  This is between 4-6 weeks of age.  Once the personality has been determined, pictures will be emailed or posted to the site with each puppy's description.  The waiting list has first pick before they are offered to the public.  If you see a puppy you want, be sure to submit your preference early.  If you do not see a puppy you want, you can wait for the next listings---there is no deadline on your deposit and it will not expire.  If you need to wait longer than you anticipated due to a change in circumstance, we will not forfeit your deposit and are happy to work with you and your schedules.  Just let us know how we can help you!

Choosing Day Process:
1) Choosing date will be announced by staff at Uptown Dogs via email.  Please mark this on your calendar.
(If you are planning to visit the puppies in person, we recommend  scheduling an appointment the week of choosing day to view the personality and interact with the litter.  Everyone will list their preferences in order 1-3, 4 etc.  Final decisions will not be made until everyone on the litter has had a chance to meet all the puppies.)
2)  We will  email details and pictures of each available puppy.  Your family will list their choices in order of 1-3.
3)  We will go down the list and match up everyone.
4)   Final email will go out to each family that evening, so it is important to get back to us that day.
Please Note:: Out of fairness to our other families, it is important to be in contact with us if you are not able to make your choices this day.  We are happy to accommodate your situation within reason, but a 'no show' will result in missing out on this very exciting day!  Failure to contact us with your choice will forfeit your choosing preference and we will match up everyone that has replied, leaving your family with the final pup left. You can then decide to wait for the next litter or accept this pup.

Final Adoption Fees
are due  upon final choosing of your pup, or by 6 weeks of age.  This can be paid via PayPal, Bank Wire, or Money Order, Personal checks are OK if mailed in time to clear our bank before delivery.  Shipping or delivery charges are  also due at this time so we can begin the flight booking process.

A NOTE ABOUT OUR WAITING LIST AND WAITING FOR A PUPPY:
Keep in mind all dates are estimations based on our females previous cycles. I do my very best to give dates that are as accurate as possible, but occasionally these estimations can be off.   Nature is never 100% predictable, and cycles can skip, run late or early, or just not happen as expected.  Breedings can also result in false pregnancies, no pregnancy, smaller litters, or litters with colors YOU may not prefer.  We have absolutely no control over these factors, and ask at this time that all families wait patiently and kindly.   As much as we strive to keep everyone happy while on the waiting list, we realize that these setbacks can be disappointing.  We promise that in the end when you hold your little pup in your arms, all the waiting will make this time that much sweeter ;)  Our puppies are worth the wait!

We will never be a breeder that provides instant gratification for those wanting a puppy right away, we are too small and our focus is on planning litters ahead and pre-screening families so we always have homes for each and every puppy.  If you are looking for a puppy right away, you can find run of the mill puppies for half the price scattered all over the internet or listed in the local newspaper by backyard breeders and puppy mills.  But be forewarned, you get what you pay for!  Quality breeding is not cheap and we feel our prices are equal to the quality, health and guarantee we provide in turn.  This is to be your new family member, and we are dedicated to ensuring every family receives nothing less than the BEST.   This is a rewarding and fulfilling endeavor for us, and we would like it to remain this way by working with families that understand these simple elements involved with breeding.  Our demand is very high, and we carefully choose families that are willing  to wait for their puppy.

If at any time we are treated disrespectfully or feel a family's behavior is a red flag or indicator that our puppy will not be raised as we were led to believe, we reserve the right to revoke that person's approval for a puppy.   We must feel absolutely 100% confident about the home our puppies will be living in.
