Puppy Colors
Schnoodles come in many colors!  We have found that there is a little confusion over the color choices of the puppies and thought it would be helpful to list the info about each color!

Schnauzers and Poodles are both breeds that colors can or will lighten as they get older.  Many times a black Schnauzer will fade to a grey as an adult.  Black and Silvers become Salt and Pepper when they are full grown.  Red Poodles can fade to apricot or Café Au Lait.  So with Schnoodles this is common as well.  Breeders of Schnauzers argue over the cause of this color change, saying it is from clipping the coat instead of stripping it, but any way you look at it, it is a possibility in your puppy, too.

When choosing your puppy, keep this in mind.  Most the time the colors will remain the same BUT--Black Schnoodles can become a lovely Gun Metal Grey, Sables will lighten to a lighter brown, and Apricots can also become lighter and sometimes darker!  It's all in the genes, pretty fun!

I will be posting pictures of different colors soon!  Check back.
