Our little farm is the perfect location and environment for raising healthy and happy puppies for select homes. We know how important bringing home a new puppy is to your family, and we are thrilled to be a part of this exciting event!
After more than 20 years involvement with animal husbandry including; breeding, showing, and rescue, we have a very successful breeding program and consistently raise quality, highly socialized puppies. We are confident that our puppies will make wonderful lifelong companions for your family.
With a focus on health and temperament, our breeding program consists of only the best quality animals.
Occasionally, we also will list puppies offered by friends of ours, too. These breeders are also very reputable and have equally beautiful puppies.
Home raised puppies = quality, not quantity---
We raise our puppies in our home, and it is truly a family affair. Our children have grown up with our dogs and help us in caring for them and the puppies, too. They are partly to thank for the loving personalities the babies all have. Between our family and our children's friends that come to visit, these babies are very socialized and accustomed to life indoors, around all household sounds and people. We feel this is important in raising quality puppies that will become family pets, as a dog's natural instinct is that of a pack animal. It is crucial for a puppy to be handled and socialized with humans during the early developmental stages in order for it to become a family pet with strong bonding instincts to humans. We have found over the years of raising our adult dogs, that those from large kennels do not seem to acclimate well as a house dog, if it didn't receive the proper handling and training in the important developmental stages.
The health of our dogs is of great importance, and we have a veterinarian that makes house calls to regularly check them. We also have a groomer who comes weekly to assist in bathing and grooming. Our dogs have their own dog yard for playing and exercising outdoors, and to control our breeding schedules for each female. We even have a dedicated nursery for our mommies and puppies when they are old enough to leave our bedroom. We spend most of our day caring for and spending time with our dogs. As breeders, we are advocates for feeding healthy food and nutritional supplements to your dog. We feel very strongly that the health of your pet will be greatly improved if it is receiving proper nutrition and regular vet care. Our vets see our animals monthly, and we make sure our mothers are in tip-top shape for our breeding program.
In 2010 our daughter was handed the reigns, and joined us in our mission to produce the healthiest and sweetest puppies on the planet. Together, we continue our dedication to the preservation of our exclusive line of Confetti Schnoodles.
Today, our daughter and I are both raising our Schnoodle puppies with a commitment to maintaining our high Uptown Dogs standards. We remain selective about who we choose to place our puppies with; Loving families looking for a special little puppy who will give unconditional love. We are sincere about the quality of puppies we raise and committed to working with you to help select your new family member.
